Galt Villas Hotel - Fort Lauderdale

Great stay with friends! We loved the beach nearby and the cozy vibe of the area. The room was clean and the kitchenette made it easy to prepare light meals. Definitely recommend it for a fun group getaway.

The exterior of the building could use some updates, as it didn't match the nice interiors.

Got the same well-maintained double room with kitchenette booked online, liked that. The hotel was in an EXCELLENT location near to the water taxi and restraunts, shopping, restaurants and the beach and the central beach area.

The rooms with kitchen were beautifully maintained and extremely pleasant.

This motel is situated just beside the A1 highway. I thougt that the traffic noise could be a nuisance but it didn't. The room was very clean and the the bathroom shower had the best tap and pressure among the hotels I stayed in during our 2 week trip to Floida. The room had clinker floor and thus didn't have any smell as the rooms in most hotels have. The staff was very helpful and drove us to the nearest water taxi station. Thanks! The price-quality relation is good.

This motel is situated 1-2 miles north from the beach strip and the nearest public beach is 10 minute walk away. If you want to have beach life, there are better alternatives. The wireles network was not operating in the rooms, only near to front desk. The internet connection in the room with the wire did not work with my laptop. The pool was in the other hotel, but near. No restrooms beside the room.

Parking availability is a key factor

although it's in Ocean Blvd, you have to walk about three blocks to Oackland Blvd to access the beach because there are several private condominiums between the Galt and the Beach

Location: the hotel was short walk to fashionable restaurants, coffee, and attractions and restaurants. The rooms were stocked and recently renovated with a king size bed kept by the excellent staff. The service was great, totally satisfied.

To be quite honest we love everything about this place there was nothing that we can complain about. I would stay again and again and would recommend for anyone.

People walking around the back of the hotel were a little noisy at night.

The place was fairly clean, our room was well-maintained. The room was very great, exceptionally comfortable bed...

The staff were very friendly and helpful- quite the opposite of management.

The manager was rude and unhelpful, I don't know how the poor staff put up with him. The room was basic, spacious, clean and a little musty.. not enough natural air.

poor cleanliness; cigatette stub on the floor between the cooker and fridge, bottle top under the bed; shoe/trainer prints left on bathroom floor; damp flannel left on wash hand basin; bin not emptied from previous occupier.
